Executive Abstract
Modern commercial software is built on a fragile foundation: 250MB+ Chromium/Electron bundles, thousands of transitive npm/PyPI dependencies, unencrypted on-disk AI weights, and mandatory cloud LLM API calls that violate HIPAA, CMMC 2.0, ABA Rule 1.6, and NERC-CIP air-gap mandates. When an endpoint is targeted by ransomware or memory-scraping spyware, standard applications are passive victims waiting for an external EDR agent to intervene.
This paper presents the Anvaya Armored SDK (sovereign-sdk), engineered by the Dubay Tech Cyber Security Product Lab (dubay.tech). Comprising 24 sovereign-* crates and 18 anvaya-* shared foundation crates (part of Dubay Tech's 61+ Pure-Rust Crate Ecosystem), the SDK compiles commercial desktop, server, industrial SCADA OT, and Android mobile applications into a single 12MB–18MB zero-DLL executable with 8 Proactive Self-Defending Cyber Pillars built directly into the application runtime.
1. The 3-Family 61+ Pure-Rust Crate Architecture
| Crate Family | Crate Count | Representative Crates | Primary Role |
|---|---|---|---|
1. Anvaya Armored SDK (sovereign-*) | 24 Crates | sovereign-core, sovereign-harden, sovereign-model-vault, sovereign-swarm, sovereign-ot, sovereign-android | Self-defending application chassis, 5 commercial engines & 10 regulated enclaves |
2. Anvaya Core Foundation (anvaya-*) | 18 Crates | anvaya-crypto, anvaya-vault, anvaya-ai, anvaya-ebpf, anvaya-yara, anvaya-pqc | Envelope encryption, Kyber-1024 hybrid PQC, Candle AI, eBPF, YARA & STIX/SARIF |
3. Alaska Cyber Arsenal (alaska*) | 19 Crates | alaskacommand, alaskasentinel, alaskaforensics, anvaya-canary, alaskaairlock | Standalone SOC workstations, live RAM DFIR, <0.8ms canaries & WFP airlocks |
2. The 8 Proactive Self-Defending Cyber Pillars
Every binary compiled with cargo sovereign executes a sub-500ms pre-flight security sequence before opening its UI or listening socket:
- Pillar 1 — Autonomous Host & File ACL Hardening (
sovereign-harden): Enforces strictWin32 DACL/chmod 0600permissions on all embeddedredbtables and AI weights, and verifies loopback-only (127.0.0.1) socket binding. - Pillar 2 — Alphabetical Canary Sandwich (
sovereign-canary): Plants cryptographic tripwire files sorting first (!00_) and last (zz_) inside application data directories to catch directory-walking ransomware on file #1. - Pillar 3 — AES-256-GCM Encrypted AI Model Vault (
sovereign-model-vault): Protects proprietary GGUF/SafeTensors neural weights at rest and streams decrypted pages directly into locked RAM (VirtualLock/mlock) withZeroizeOnDrop. - Pillar 4 — Hardware-Bound Ed25519 Offline Licensing (
sovereign-license): Verifies air-gapped cryptographic entitlements without phoning home. - Pillar 5 — Merkle-Chained Tamper-Evident Audit Log (
sovereign-audit): Seals every state mutation in an append-only BLAKE3 hash chain admissible under FRE 902(13)/(14). - Pillar 6 — Sub-Millisecond Airlock & Snapshot Rollback (
sovereign-airlock): Freezes intruder processes and triggers instant Copy-on-Write vault recovery. - Pillar 7 — Strict Defender-Safe User-Space Boundary: Zero unsigned kernel drivers (
.sys), zero process hollowing, and zero AV false positives. - Pillar 8 — Built-in
AISwarmActor Supervision (sovereign-swarm): Embeds Erlang/OTPractorsupervision trees for fault-isolated background telemetry and local Candle SLM reasoning.
3. The 10 Regulated Industry Enclaves
# Generate a HIPAA SIT30 Clinical Enclave with Encrypted Whisper Audio & Canary Protection
$ cargo sovereign new my-clinic-station --enclave clinical --swarm --model-vault
# Generate a NERC-CIP Industrial SCADA OT Modbus/DNP3 Protocol Airlock
$ cargo sovereign new substation-guard --enclave scada-ot --airlock
Pre-configured compliance profiles include: (1) Clinical Healthcare & SIT30, (2) Legal E-Discovery & ABA Rule 1.6, (3) Defense CMMC 2.0 Level 2 / ITAR SCIF, (4) SEC/FINRA Wealth Advisory, (5) Industrial SCADA OT (sovereign-ot), (6) Cryptoledger Quorum, (7) Law Enforcement CJIS, (8) Academic FERPA, (9) Maritime Vessel Autonomous Bridge, and (10) Sovereign Android Mobile SDK (sovereign-android StrongBox .aar).
